The intention of making this model was to challenge the idea of contemporary fabrication techniques, an amalgamation of computer work and traditional model making skills to create an architectural model that seems to appear out from a storybook and narrates a story through its details and design. The burrow was chosen as the core of this project as it is a "magical" house with logical architectural elements to it, something that would be difficult to build in real life. With the aid of digital modelling programs such as rhino, helped to ensure that the model was buildable and a way to visualise the assembly of the model in real life. The flying Ford Anglia is made as an intent to give the entire model a more magical element to it and plays with the idea of using science and logic to create a sense of magic in real-life.
